Of possible interest: I was on the Y’60 Class Council each upper class year and the Freshman Activities Committee for the first year. After graduation, I continued on the Class Council for 50 years.
Also:
• Chaired smallish 15th Reunion – 3 days of gov’t and Yale Faculty presentations
• Organized planned and partially funded 50th reunion lunch for Y’60 Fence Club members – 75 in attendance at now defunct Faculty Club.
• Former NYC AYA (now YAA) delegate & Yale Schools interviewer.
By the numbers:
• At least 100 visits to France in the past 30 years.
• Almost 1,500 referreed (formal) games of adult ice hockey starting at Yale, the bulk in senior leagues around NY and Boston. These leagues are year ’round, 20 games plus playoffs – 4 seasons a year.
• Over 300 sponsees in 38+ years of 12 Step work, numerous interventions and 3-4,000 AA meetings, mostly at the front end of my continuing recovery..
