Dear Barry,

Since your is the only email I have for Bill’s Yale ’60 class leadership, this is to let you know that Bill died on July 27th after a valiant 10 year battle with cancer. His death was of a quality we all hope for; he raised the bar for the rest of us. It might be well to include a notice in the next quarterly issue of the Yale magazine, and if it seems right to use some or all of Bill’s short biography, the class agent has my permission. It is attached. Thank you very much for passing this news along. Best always, Barbara Clark

WSC Yale 50th Biography

As I approach the end of my life, I am finally getting marriage right with my beloved wife, Barbara.

I have a wonderful relationship with my daughter, Sophia, stepchildren Jim, Marie, and Joanna and their nine children. I mourn the loss of my daughter, Donnie.

I rejoice in the memory of my 2001 trip around the world in a single engine Mooney Ovation with my next door neighbor and friend, Lloyd.

I relish my ten year battle with cancer.

My life is enriched immeasurably by faith, family, friends and the staff at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City.
